Sho Biggz, fka Shogun, was born in Korea, raised in the Netherlands, took his name because he believes that people, especially now, should not look back at what happened but take their lives in their own hands like himself.
He started playing the piano at the age of six.
Ten years later Shogun threw MC’ing and composing in the mix.
In 2003 he released the underground classic “Shogun War Chant.” He then went on opening for Jeru the Damaja, accompanying the Last Poets, and shared stages with Wu-Tang Clan, Bilal, D.I.T.C., 24/7 Spyz, and Michael “Clip” Payne among many others.
Former keyboardist of the band TrackAddicts, Sho Biggz is one of the pioneers of a genre called RockStarFunk. After two albums TrackAddicts landed a licensing deal with CMG / WeFunk Records in the U.S.
